So Easy A Child Can Do It

Killing people should be hard. You should have to work for it. It shouldn’t be something so easy a kid could just do it on a whim. But in gun-lovin’ America, it is. It’s really that easy.

“A girl aged 11 or 12 girl shot and wounded two of her fellow students and a member of staff at a school in the US state of Idaho, police said. The unnamed pupil, who is in the sixth grade, brought a gun to Rigby Middle School in the city of Boise and opened fire.” (BBC)

Why did she bring a gun to school? Well to shoot her classmates of course. Why did she want to shoot her classmates? Well, why does anyone want to shoot anyone? Because they want to, because in the US of A the loudest voices say it’s a right, because the only way you can be safe is for everyone, everywhere to carry a gun all the time.

Can you imagine a classroom where all the sixth graders are packing? Or maybe the solution is to arm the teachers? Or have armed guards in all the schools. To do what? Well shoot a 12 year old girl with a gun of course.

America has a problem. Guns have become the replacement for courage. Instead of having the guts to talk to someone, you can just shoot them. Problems become a lot easier to solve when there are only two sides: in front or behind the barrel.

Fuck your bullets. Fuck your second amendment. Fuck your gun rights bullshit. Fuck you. You’re all a bunch of little girls.
