On Steam Friends

Did you ever open up your Steam Friends list and scroll down past the half dozen “real friends – people I no-shitting actually know”, past the dozen or so “huh, I think I remember playing with them in…um… zombies, shooting, something, something probably”, to the list at the bottom of people who haven’t logged on in over weeks or years (about the same thing in gamer time)? And kinda wonder why you don’t remove them from your list?

And then you remember it makes you feel like a gamer-vet because you have such a long list, and then you congratulate yourself because the majority haven’t changed their name to something either racist or patently offensive in some other way.
